                               RESOLUTION NO. 18986
                   
                   
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR 
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS TO 
                   CONTRACT WITH EUGENE BOWMAN, APPRAISER, TO 
                   PERFORM AN APPRAISAL OF TWELVE (12) TRACTS 
                   PLUS SIX (6) ADD-ON TRACTS RELATIVE TO 
                   CONTRACT NO. 72, HIXSON COLLECTION SYSTEM, 
                   FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT OF SIX THOUSAND AND 
                   NO/100 DOLLARS ($6,000.00).
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department 
       of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to contract with 
       Eugene Bowman, Appraiser, to perform an appraisal of twelve (12) 
       tracts plus six (6) add-on tracts relative to Contract No. 72, 
       Hixson Collection System, for a total amount of $6,000.00, which 
       amount includes $4,500.00 for the appraisals, and $1,500.00 for 
       appearance in court as an expert witness if necessary.
